I have now been to two photoshoots. One last saturday and the other last tuesday.
It's been fun and exciting. But I had to work VERY hard.
On saturday I went to Roppongi to meet Mr. Yan who was going to take my pictures. He had said to me that I didn't have to wear make-up or do my hair because the stylist would do that.
When I finally met him 7am he said that I had to do my make-up and hair myself because the stylist was busy.
I got a little disappointed, but I didn't think too much about it.
I was going to be a lolita model so I was happy!
Mr.Yan drove us and we had to drive for a very long time. All the way to Funabashi (it's outside Tokyo).
It took about an hour to get to his studio.
I was so nervous, but Mr. Yan was very kind.
The whole day I had to model lots and lots of clothes! From Lolita to Punk.
These are the clothes I had to model:
There was a row behind that row too! O___O
This is how the setting looked like:

Me in on of the many dresses:

Mr. Yan show me Bodyline´s storeroom and it was HUGE! I have never seen so many clothes in my life! The rooms were filled with boxes! It was amazing!
I was working from 8am to 7pm so I was VERY tired.
Later I met Hyo, Malin and also Amanda, Kentaro, Hanna and Yoshi to go to a sweets buffé called Sweets Paradise.*___*
On tuesday me and another model, a sweet japanese girl, went to a photoshoot again and they also wanted to make some movies with us. I felt like a dork XD I'm such a bad actor!
We was photographed at the Harajuku bridge, in Akihabara and some other places in Harajuku. It was really fun, but as before, very hard work! I only at two onigiri the whole day until 8pm T__T
Here's some photos of that day:

Today it's Thursday and Mr.Yan wants to photoshoot with me tomorrow, but I rejected him.
I actually feel like I'm being used. The other models get their travel to Japan paid and I wont even get a stylist for my hair and make-up. So I rejected him.
I feel like I've been working so hard and wasted my precious days in Japan for nothing. The only thing I get is to be on their website.
Well I'm happy for that, but I don't know if I want to waste anymore days.
We'll see what happens. I don't know right now.
Update 2011/10/03: I've heard some rumors about girls having really bad experience with Mr.Yan. I just want to tell people about my bad experience with him that I didn't write. During the photo shoot he kept telling me that I should leave my boyfriend and go to Japan to live there and maybe I could work in the Body Line store. At that time I didn't think about it that much, but now that I think about it it's pretty weird.
Don't trust this man.

Oj, vad hårt du jobbar!
ReplyDeleteSkulle också känt mig lite "used", men sitter ju inte i din sits. Önskar att jag också kan åka till japan någon dag, min stora dröm är att bo där och plugga. :)
It really sounds like they treat you like crap, wtf >:(
ReplyDeleteI'm kinda glad you rejected him in the end!!
But I can't wait to see your photos, I bet you look super cute!
du är iallafall den snyggaste bodyline-modellen jag någonsin sett <3 SÅ JÄVLA FINA BILDER!
ReplyDeletewow... I didn't know about that...
ReplyDeletetoo bad, I can't believe it yet!
I can't believe you got nothing after winning their contest, not even an stylist
so they get you to pay everything for yourself? OMG
.-.!!!
did they??!?!
First off I want to say fantastic blog! I had a quick question in which I'd like to ask if you do not mind.
ReplyDeleteI was interested to find out how you center yourself and clear your head before
writing. I've had a tough time clearing my mind in getting my ideas out there.
I truly do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or hints?
Appreciate it!
