My Beauty Diary Mask - Sponsored Review

Hey guys!
So a while ago I got a big sponsored package containing circle lenses and beauty masks to review. These products were sponsored by Candylens.com.

They even wrote a message on tiny card.
That's just too cute, don't you think? ^___^
What I really like about them is that they encouraged me to write an honest review (although I always write honest reviews) so that their customers will be pleased with the products they buy.

Today I'll review three different beauty masks by the same brand: My Beauty Diary. Some of the information about the masks are used from Candylens.com. I wore the masks once a week in 3 weeks so that I could do a proper review on them.

First of all I'll start of to show you how to use the masks and how they look like.

How to:

  • Rinse your face thoroughly.
  • Unfold the mask gently and remove the plastics protecting the mask.
  • Place it so that as much as skin as possible is covered.
  • Wear it for about 20 minutes.
  • Take it off and dab the excessive liquid into the skin and let it dry.

Folded mask.

Unfolded mask.

Aloe Vera Facial Mask

Product Description

Price: $1.90
Main Ingredients:
Aloe - (provides skin with adequate moisture content)
Rose - (improves dry and rough skin texture)
Amino Acid - (nourishes and moisturizes skin)
Hyaluronic Acid - (highly effective in moisture retention)
Promises to:
Moisturize, repair, revitalize and nourish the skin

Suitable for:
Normal skin, especially dry and damaged skin

Review:
The mask was easy to apply and it had a very mild scent of roses, so if you are sensitive to strong perfumes this mask might be good for you. My skin around my nose is very dry but after wearing the mask it feels like it took away some of the dryness. My skin feel very smooth and healthy right after wearing it. I don't give it full points because I don't feel the smoothness was long-lasting.

Pearl Powder Facial Mask

Product Description

Price: $1.90
Main Ingredients:
Amino Acids, Trace Elements - (penetrates through interior layer of skin; creates soft, fair look with radiance)
Vitamin-B, Seaweed - (activates and nourishes skin)

Promises to:
Soften, whiten, activate and nourish the skin

Suitable for:
Dull and damaged skin

Review:
The scent is very subtle and smells of flowers. The mask is easy to apply, but on my face I felt as if the holes for the eyes were too small for me. It might have been because I have a high nose bridge. My face feels a little cool while wearing the mask. After wearing the mask and the skin had absorbed everything my skin feels renewed and very smooth. My skin is very damaged, but after wearing the mask my skin look very healthy! I'm very pleased with the result! The only difference I didn't see was that it didn't whiten my skin, but I think my skin looks like it has a nice and healthy glow after wearing it. Since it didn't whiten I will not give full points.

Black Pearl Facial Mask
Product Description
Price: $1.90
Main Ingredients:
Natural active ingredients of black pearls - (whitens and softens skin)
Pineapples, limes, cucumbers - (accelerates metabolism of stratum comeum; gently removes dead epidermis cells)

Promises to:
Soften skin and whiten skin by restoring skin's resilience and radiance

Suitable for:
Normal skin, especially for dull skin lacking elasticity

Review:
The scent is very light, smells like flowers. When wearing it my face feels cool but at the same time it stings a little on my skin. I'm not sure of this is a good or a bad sign. After my skin absorbed all the liquid my face feels very smooth and looks brighter! I'm impressed how healthy my face looks after wearing it. My skin look more even! Full points on this one!

5/5

Overall review:
I like all three masks, but I have to say that Black Pearl Facial Mask was my absolute favorite because my face felt super revived and super soft. I would definitely use Black Pearl Facial Mask and Pearl Powder again because it really made a difference on my skin. One down side of these masks is that they don't last very long, but it's always nice to give your skin some goodies once in a while when you want to feel extra fresh and revive your stressed and dull skin. The price is also very reasonable.

Note: Remember that these are my personal experience with these products. Your skin might not react the same way with these masks since skin is very individual.

  1. I got a few MBD maks when I was Korea and I love how they are folded and have a plastic side: it's a good way to know which side is best for your face! Quality and price wise, MBD is one of the best out there imo :)

  11. Hello, thank you for review. I tried My beauty Diary face masks. What can I say, I would give them 3 out of 5. I recently tried Dizao Facial masks and completely hooked to this product. I could see difference after first time. Even my friends noticed that I looked refreshed and my skin was smooth next day. I tried placenta-collagen masks with salmon caviar. They also com with serum with gold. The result is amazing
